This week on We Talk Music Online

The electronic music scene is constantly evolving, with new releases and fresh talent emerging every week. This past week has been particularly exciting, with some quality releases from our producer community. We also released our Max for Live Channelstrip in a Free and a Pro version.

PR23 – ACID X (When Disco Goes Wrong)

First up, we have PR23 and his track ACID X, released on When Disco Goes Wrong. The track is a fusion of funk, acid, and old-school club vibes that will undoubtedly get you grooving.

SCHEPPERZ – CK4MT (HOT-Q Records)

Next, SCHEPPERZ from Thorium Records has released CK4MT on HOT-Q Records. This track is one of Thorium Records’ best-selling tracks, and for good reason. It’s a brain-cell distorting masterpiece that will leave you craving for more. Go support the original release on Thorium Records

AFL – Breaking Tides (Remake)

AFL has also made a comeback with his fine-tuned version of Breaking Tides. This is a testament to the skills he has acquired over the years as a producer. It’s an incredible track that takes the original to another level.

AIRYULE – ASSAULT (Thorium Records)

Last but not least, Airyule, known for his industrial cinematic side of Techno music, is experimenting with the minimal and melodic side of Techno while still staying true to his signature sound. His latest release, ASSAULT, on Thorium Records, is a perfect blend of that.

WTMO-CS – Channelstrip from We Talk Music Online

We Talk Music Online’s WTMO-CS channel strip is a comprehensive tool that promises to elevate your final mixdown. This product is available in both standard and pro versions, with the pro version offering separate modules that provide additional functionalities.

The pre-amp is one of the standout features of the WTMO-CS channel strip. It offers three distinct panning modes, and the “Analog Mumbo Jumbo” filter can be activated using the LED, adding a touch of magic to your mix. The two displays also allow for effective signal monitoring.

The EQ section features a 4-band setup, each equipped with 9 filters. This allows for flexibility in performing the final EQ on your mix. The visual representation of these filters on the display further enhances the ease of use.

The saturation/overdrive function is another impressive feature of this channel strip. It can provide a range of tonal qualities, from slight saturation to massive overdrive. With settings like 100% tone, 11% drive, and 25% mix, you can achieve a fat and crispy sound that blends perfectly with your drums.

The compressor/gate/limiter feature is a powerful tool that allows for precision shaping of your sound. It is ideal for adding punch to your drums or gaining control over vocals. The interface has been thoughtfully designed for ease of use, but users must exercise caution, as it can go beyond its intended purpose.

The visualizer provides a full picture of your sound with both Sonogram and Spectrogram displays. This feature allows you to get a clear view of where your sound is placed in the mix.

Finally, the output stage comes complete with plate reverb, delay, and limiter, providing depth to your mix, along with a touch of delay to blend everything together, and a limiter to maintain control. The same two displays used in the pre-amp section are used here as well, providing a clear visual representation of your mix before and after processing.

In conclusion, the WTMO-CS channel strip is a comprehensive tool that offers a range of functions to elevate your final mixdown. The pro version’s separate modules allow for even more flexibility and ease of use, making it a great investment for any serious musician or producer.
