Guys, how do you deal with the problem that no one listens to you?

    • Now that’s a good question. My monthly listeners are quite low but I’m happy when I see them. I think it’s a matter of either coming to terms with the low listeners (or just focus on making music you like and if there are others who enjoy it that’s great) or spending a lot of time, and often money, on promoting yourself.

Having had a few releases come out with WTMO I’ve found my monthly listeners is growing as Piv does quite a bit of promotion on the backend around here.

    • link up with us on FB and we always tend to share each others releases etc.. another trick tho i havent really tried myself but my son has, is on spotify playlists there is always an email where you can contact to get your stuff added as long as you fit the genre of course for my son he did this and it really boosted his listeners

    • Make sure to post about everything you do. I’s a SoMe world,

And never underestimate getting it out on labels that got other artists that can help getting you noticed. There are literally 10.000s of tracks uploaded every day with electronic music. You need to stand out, and one way is growing your fanbase with daily updates and have a label help you with that can really help.

      • the hardest part is to find a label. My experience shows that most of them don’t respond🥲 (although I don’t write that big and where the genre fits)

        • 99% of all tracks that my labels get, I never respond to and never listen to them. Simply because they dont provide a biography when they send me tracks. And if they dont do more for their artist profile, then why should I ?

Music is about growing your network, thats why WTMO was created. But if people want to get released, they need to learn to treat their artists profile as their job.

          • Also mail that got 50 labels on CC, forget it. If you want to work on my labels, you know my labels and are not just throwing wild cards out there 🙂

            • Thanks for advice, maybe i try sent my demo to your label

            • WTMO is for the users in here. But the tracks need to be of good quality. So no home mastering. The Premaster needs to sound good. So a good way to get on the WTMO Releases is to use the track feedback group and let people help you get the best out of your tracks. Then if we like the tracks we will probably ask if we can rewlease them
