    • I’ve been on a big Dubstep kick lately so here is my newest Deep Dubstep track.

I’ve taken it as far as I can without taking a break so wanted to put it out for fresh ears to listen while I work on something new.

      Interested in any…Read More

      • Think you might have a new version; couldn’t find the track.

        • Yeah, made a few changes and forgot to update the link. I will reup when I’m back on my PC. Got another one I’m closer to finished too that I’ll start a new thread with.

    • Hey All, new track from me. Felt like I made some type of discoveries in the mixing process around low end compression, and balancing the mix with this track. Pretty happy with it. Any thoughts?…Read More

      • I really dig the percussive melody (and percussion in general). There is almost a scrapy sound in the perc melody that is very pleasing.

        • (I didn’t realize hitting enter would post my comment lol) The bassline and additional melodics have a total 80s vibe. Loving it. Great vocal chant coming in around 2min. Great track man. I’ll listen a bit closer when I have a chance but this was great first time through.

      • Hey Scott Nice track i like the percs at the off tht kick is solid the Vocals work well at 2.07 nice on the build up nice track i enjoyed..T

    • Definitely having a lot of fun with these stems.

I’ve turned Denat’s Jackin’ House style into Dubstep.

Quick mixdown done but probably need some refinement.

Let me know what you…Read More

      • Nice intro, building energy nicely. I like the repeating drone hit bass, the single note really makes it drive harder than changing key so much. At the 2 min mark I’m thinking some 1/4 note LFO modulation on the bass could be nice, to get it to pump. Oh yeah, there it is.
        Solid work1

        • Thanks for listening Scott. I’ve just done a v2 with some new automation and a proper outro. Editing some it the timing in the baseline too which I think gives it more impact.

    • Hey all so had been doing this track a while and was getting no-where then revisited it changed up the bass lines and practically the rest followed i already had the structure of the drums in place etc.. this being a Bass House number hopefully to submit over with the last house track i did a while back your thoughts and feedback as always a help…Read More

      • As that lead filters up at 22-26s it sounds like there’s some unintended clipping/distortion artifacts. Bassline is cool when it drops, lots of movement.
The pad at 130 sounds full in the low-mids, it could help with clarity if that’s notched a bit.
The snare build out of the break didn’t carry energy in the way it should, it felt like it was…Read More

        • Hi Scott Hope you are well mate thanks for feedback too, great points i will look at maybe try something different on that snare roll and also look at that bassline too thanks for listen mate ..Tim

    • Started this little balearic space disco thing in honor of the solstice and finally getting some nice weather in the UK – cosmic vibes at a positively horizontal 96bpm…

      • Ben – I really like this track! A great cool vibe to it – progresses well – no real draggy parts. The ONLY thing I might suggest is that in about the middle of the track, change to a real spare melodic phrase with just 1 instrument (or 2 layered) as a quiet section that would build some tension and release when the main track kicks back in.…Read More

        • Awqesome, thanks Todd. Yeah I think a stripped back section in the middle is a good shout, will see how it works. Cheers.

      • Totally vibing along here, forgetting I’m meant to be providing feedback. I’d add some (more) pre-delay to the reverb on the new lead at 1:30. Feels washier on the front than it could. I like how the 303 lead develops at 3 mins, nice work, subtle, but with great effect. Lovely work! Really enjoyed that.
