EXPANDER
Expander is a mono to stereo widening tool. The signal is delayed and the left channel is polarity inverted. Then it’s mixed in parallel with the dry signal creating a sort of comb filter effect that sounds very wide. Precisely tuned all pass filters are added to the delayed signal to “blur” each end of the frequency spectrum. This makes for better width in the extreme low and high end.
SPRAY
A cascade of up to 48 all pass filters in series which applies a unique, wet, squelchy, laser-like character to your sound. The grey line is the original sound, the blue line is the result and the red line is the shape and location of the filter.
