Hi People! Sorry, I posted this in the wrong place. It’s a demo version of a track I’ve been working on with a very good friend of mine. Progressive techno/trance (kind of!), C minor, 124 bpm. I would love to hear your thoughts, especially on sound selection and structure. 🙂
The track needs better mastering, it’s lacking in low end at the moment but I’ll fix that.

The sound selection is very close; all the elements move well together, and there’s good clarity in the mix, but the sounds themselves feel a bit brighter and drier (reverb) than I typically assume from big proggy tunes. Drop at 3:37 has the right feel to it, and maybe a more glued and compressed mix with a bit more reverb would give that big pumping cohesive feeling too. Good stuff so far.
