I am looking into a proper AD/DA converter. I hear the UA Apollo is the way to go. I recently purchased the HEDDs Type 20s and now I am wondering if I should consider an upgrade to my audio interface as well.

I think the Apollo are to expensive for what you get, unless you want latency free preamp emulation and that stuff from UA. Then that is for sure the one to get.
Most of my friends who are serious about recording external gear are using RME, and I would also look into them before buying UA.

My current audio interface is the MOTU M2 and so far it is a good one but not a great one.
