AFL posted in the group WTMO-Track Feedback
Ok, restarting this thread on the wall. Here’s what I think is my final version of my remix of Ben Hunt’s Midsummer. It’s D&B but not your regular style, more floaty. I tried to pay homage to the original while keeping it fresh.

That plucky melody at the start reminds me a little of Girl/Boy song by Aphex. Only a good thing. The snare seems to be poking out in the mix a little more, not sure if that’s because it’s on the dry side, or glue, or gain? But it could be in there. anit more i think. Structure and vibe is tops.

Hey John Nice work i have to go back and listen to Been original but as for a DnB track i like this has nice vibes i liked that break down at 2.15 really cool the only thing i felt was the drums/percs could shine thru slightly around 3.30 area as there are the synths etc.. but this may be my taste overall nice work mate, BTW i haven’t forgotten my DnB remix of your track 3 beggars its 1/2 done sorry bud it will come soon ..T
