I started a D&B remix of Ben Hunt’s Midsommer tune. Going for a more floaty feel than standard D&B on this, still have big basslines but kept almost all the original synths, just rearranged and added a few of my own.

Interested in feedback on the mix and arrangement.

  Sounding dope dude, love what you’ve done with it. Having istened to any d&b for years so my references will show my age here, but getting Alex Reece vibes from the chords and beats mix. Only thing that stood out for me was the new stabby synth that comes in from around 1:30 felt a bit too saturated compared to the rest of the synths, but totally works musically. Let me know when you think its finished and I’ll look into getting it out there somehow.

    Thanks Ben, I uploaded a new v2 and I think it’s sounding better with less saturation on that bass part too. I feel like I’m almost done but have to listen to it a few more times to be sure lol
